James 1 - Nathanael

My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.
James 1:19‭-‬20 NIV

James is such a practical letter! These verses spoke to me and reminded me that in those times when I feel anger rising, I should not allow it to grow and vent because my anger doesn't bring about God's righteousness.

Jesus, help me to reign in anger! I want your righteousness in my life and in those around me!
