I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him.
2 Corinthians 11:2
There is a proper jealousy - a jealousy that looks to protect those who belong to you. For instance, when a parent desires strongly to keep their children from a drug dealer. There can be a proper jealousy for the children that creates an anger towards the one who would do them harm.
For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough.
2 Corinthians 11:4
Not every Jesus that is preached is the true Jesus. There are false Jesus's and false gospels.
For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.
2 Corinthians 11:13-14
Not everyone who claims to be a worker of Jesus truly is. We can tell by the fruit and the message.
Who is weak, and I do not feel weak? Who is led into sin, and I do not inwardly burn?
2 Corinthians 11:29 NIV
A leader can at times feel the sins of those who they lead. This is sometimes referred to as bearing the burdens of another.
