Verse 7, "If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you." (NIV) My understanding for "..., ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you" is once we know God's will through his words, we would ask for the requests and needs that are according to or consistent with his will, so God will answer our prayer requests.
Verse 25, "But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law, 'They hated me without reason.'" (NIV) I pray God please help the people who hate you experience your love and love you. You can change people's hearts.
