"Make the tabernacle with ten curtains of finely twisted linen and blue, purple and scarlet yarn, with cherubim woven into them by a skilled worker.
Exodus 26:1 NIV
In the previous chapter we saw that Moses was to make the tabernacle in the same pattern as what he saw in heaven. Here we see that there are angels being woven into the curtains that surround the tabernacle. This obviously refers to the angels that are encircling God's presence in heaven.
Though we have some wonderful experiences and pictures of God here on earth, this shows that we are still only seeing as through a glass darkly. I look forward to the day when I can see God in all his glory!
