¹⁵ Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. ¹⁶ But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners,

I need to be aware of deceitfulness of wealth, position that makes me proud of myself and forget what God has done.

I know I can be shown mercy from Christ Jesus as I realize I am the worst of sinners.

Jesus the Lord, please give mercy on me and save me with your grace.
