Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

This is a great description if love! Not seeking our own interests but rather putting others and their needs before our own.
for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.

This Is an amazing verse! Understanding this fully is key to walking in Christ Jesus! God is the one who works in us and enables us to do his will, but he also gives us the will, the desire, to obey him!
We owe everything to God and can trust in him! What we need to do is rely on him instead of trying to follow Jesus on our own strength. The key is deepening or relationship and love for Jesus. He then does the work of life transformation!
