Verse 17, "The elders who direct the affairs of the church well are worthy of double honor, especially those whose work is preaching and teaching."
The elders are the leaders of church, and they work as servants with humble hearts and serve the people in church. The true elders serve not because they want to get honor from people, but because of their thankful hearts and faith in God, who shows his mercy and grace on them.
