Verse 16, "For by him (Jesus) all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him." (NIV)
When I read this verse, I think about whether sins were also created by God Jesus? When God created this universe including human beings, God saw all that he had made, and it was very good (Genesis 1: 31). Sins are not good, so God didn't them. But human beings use the freedom that God gives to use in wrong ways and have sins. Thanks for Jesus's sacrifice that we can be saved from our sins and rescued from the dominion of darkness!
