I think Chapter 7 is very interesting because it shows several groups of people trying to decide if Jesus is the Messiah or not. It seems like many people knew that the Messiah would be born in Bethlehem, but they did not know that he would come from Nazareth or Galilee. Jesus proved that he is the Messiah by his words, deeds, and miracles. He knew God intimately, because he came from God and he is part of the Godhead. Why were the Pharisees so opposed to Jesus? It is unclear, but this is in line with the Scriptural prophecies about the people of Israel who would crucify him. Jesus is the Messiah and he revealed himself to many people and he behaved in wise ways to avoid their arrest and killing him early. Overall, God's plan is really amazing, and it is interesting to see how so many people struggled to believe in God's will. I want to follow God's will for my life, and be aware of what he is doing in and around me. Please help me Lord, to see and believe in all that you are doing.
