Jesus said, "If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains.
John 9:41 NIV
This is similar to Jesus saying that it is not the well who need a doctor but the sick. In both cases there is a need for us to recognize that we need God's help. If we think that we have it all together, God cannot help us, even though we really need help. Our first and greatest need is to recognize that we are sinners in need of a savior, blind and needing healing.
I need you Jesus!
