1 Corinthians 13 - Nathanael

The love chapter: A very famous and important chapter.
I am challenged each time i read this to up my game and ask God to help me to love like he does.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
1 Corinthians 13:4‭-‬7
Amen!

For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears.
For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
1 Corinthians 13:9-10,12
As a side note, some claim that prophecy no longer is valid or in action from God based on verses 9-10. The claim is that "completeness" is the completion of the New Testament. While certainly that is important and of great benefit to us, the context here points to the fact that the completion comes when we see face to face and "know fully".

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:13 NIV
Amen again!
