If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy that person; for God's temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.

God protects and cares about his people. He executes justice when his beloved are harmed.
Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become "fools" so that you may become wise.

Human wisdom can be a trap that puffs up with pride and draws away from Christ. We are called to turn from this false wisdom - even looking foolish to those around us - so that we can find the wisdom of God that saves us.
