Romans 14 - Nathanael

This chapter describes many situations that are the working out of love. We

Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters.
Romans 14:1
Whay catches my eye is that there are things that are disputable. In other words it is a matter of opinion and not God's command. These are areas where we should display love and let people believe whay they wish.

The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them.
Romans 14:3
Not only should we not argue with them but we should not think bad of them or treat them in any way badly.

Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.
Romans 14:19
Our goal towards others: peace and mutual edification.

It is better not to eat meat or drink wine or to do anything else that will cause your brother or sister to fall.
Romans 14:21
Not only should we not fight we should alter or behavior so as not to offend - even if what we are doing is not sinful.

But whoever has doubts is condemned if they eat, because their eating is not from faith; and everything that does not come from faith is sin.
Romans 14:‬23 NIV
The key for an individual is that they should follow their conscience.
