Romans 11 - Nathanael

Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but tremble. For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either.
Romans 11:20-21
We need to be humble and grateful to God that he has saved us. We should not look down on Jews  (nor anyone) nor consider them an enemy. They are God's chosen people. Our relationship to God is based on his underserved gift to us.

Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off.
Romans 11:22
At the same time as we are thankful to God for his kindness, we need to also have a healthy respect (fear) of God and his sternness as well.

For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.
Romans 11:36 NIV
Thank you Jesus that everything comes from you - you created everything - and everything is for you and your glory as well. So I choose to give you the glory you deserve!
