Luke 9 & 10

It was interesting to me when Jesus called the twelve and gave them power and

authority over the demons,  to cure diseases, and when he sent them out

to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal.  It tells me we can have more than

our salvation, we can be healed and have our freedom.  We not only can tell

others about God, we can also pray for them to be healed.

Denying yourself- It's a daily thing not just once.  This actually encourages me.

That giving up to the Lord is not just for a empty cause, but there is a purpose in it all.

We will win!!!

I like to watch how Jesus prayed, "He rebuke the unclean spirit and healed the boy."

It's interesting to me that the Father concealed what Jesus was telling his disciples

about his death.  LK. 9:43-45.

In Chapter 10 - Jesus' instructions for the disciples (we are his disciples).

How to pray for the Lord to send out  laborers, to heal the sick in the towns that receive you.

To eat what is set before us, to remain in  one house and not go from house to house.  To

speak peace to the house.

Jesus' warning about rejoicing over our names written in heaven and not over authority He has

given to us over the demons.
