I was touched by the parable of rich fool starting in verse 13. Jesus said that the man was wealthy on earth but he was not rich towards the Lord, and when he died he was not prepared to meet God. Am I prepared? Or am I thinking and worrying too much about what I have and what I am doing on earth? I want to remember Jesus words in the next section about not being anxious about anything, but trusting in God and seeking his kingdom first. Jesus promises that the things that I need will be taken care of when I put him first and seek his plans and ways first.
