Luke 13 - Nathanael

Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem?  I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish."
Luke 13:4‭-‬5
It is easy for us to think that people who died in some tragedy were evil or did something to deserve the bad occurrence. But Jesus says "no", they are no more evil than others around them.
The fact is that we are all evil and deserve no more than death. But God I  his love and mercy is calling us to repent and live!

Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, 'Sir, open the door for us.'   "But he will answer, 'I don't know you or where you come from.'
Luke 13:25 NIV
This parable reminds us that there is urgency to God's call. There may not be another day to repent or another day for us to share the good news.
