Luke 4 - Nathanael

Jesus left the synagogue and went to the home of Simon. Now Simon's mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever, and they asked Jesus to help her.
Luke 4:38
At sunset, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hands on each one, he healed them.
Luke 4:40 NIV

What strikes me is that Jesus healed and helped those who were asking for help.
Sometimes others were asking on behalf of someone else but there was  almost always a request.
There were a few times that Jesus initiated a conversation, such as the woman ay the well, but again there was still a request.

This is a good pattern for us. We should be looking for those persons who are asking. And our spiritual eyes and ears should be open to see those whom God is wanting us to initiate with.

Then we need to go forward in the name of Jesus and bring God's help to those who are asking!
